-Sons of Astraios and Eos, there are five Astra Planeta. Phainon, the shining one, planet Saturn. Phaethon, the blazing one, planet Jupiter. Pyroeis, the fiery one, planet Mars. Stilbon, the shining one, planet Mercury. Eosphoros or Hesperos, the dawn-bringer and evening star, the planet Venus.

+Each god has a different description, but most had little personification.

-Daughter of Zeus and Selene, Ersa is goddess of the dew. She should not be confused with the mortal Herse.

+She is rarely mentioned so no description is ever given.

-Daughter of Selene and Zeus, Pandia is the goddess of the full moon. Half sister of the Menai, full sister of Ersa.

+Pandia is only described as lovely even among the gods.

-Brother of Selene and Eos, son of Hyperion and Thea, Helios drives the sun across the sky each day in a chariot drawn by four winged horses. He has fathered many children, the most well-known of is Phaethon, who drove the sun across the sky until he fell to his death.

+Helios is described as a purple-robed, handsome man who radiates light.

-Son of Eurybia and Krios, husband of Eos, Astraios is the titan of dusk and stars. He is the father of the winds and the stars.

+He is only ever described as the starry one.

• Eos

-Mother of the winds, sister to Selene and Helios, daughter of Theia and Hyperion, Eos is Titan of the Dawn. She is best known for asking for immortality for Tithonos, but without being granted eternal youth as well, the consort eventually shriveled into a grasshopper.

+Depicted as winged, described as rosy-fingered.

-Daughter of Hyperion and Theia, sister of Helios and Eos, Selene is the titan of the moon. She drives the moon across the sky in a silver chariot driven by a yoke of oxen. Known most for her love of Endymion, a Shepard-prince she had Zeus put into an immortal sleep, who she visited for three nights every month (the new moon). It was by him she had the Menai, the fifty lunar months. She is also a consort of Zeus and Pan.

+Beautiful, pale, flowing dark hair wearing a half-moon and dressed in fine robes.

-Daughters of Gaia, the Nesoi are the personification of the islands. Sisters of the Ouros, some say the Nesoi are Ouros that were cast into the sea by Poseidon. Various islands known from the Greek tales are named as Nesoi.

+The only description of a Nesoi is of Skyros, who is said to wear blue with a sturdy frame holding a vine and olive branch.

-The titan queen before Kronos and Rhea took over, Eurynome is a daughter of Okeanos and wife of Ophion. When overthrown by their fellow titans, Eurynome and Ophion were cast into Okeanos. She is also identified with Tethys.

+Eurynome is described as having a mermaid’s form.

=She has no other spellings, but she should not be confused with a different titan queen by the same name.

-Emerging from Khaos at the start of creation, Tartaros is the embodiment of the pit below the earth where the dead are sent. His son by Gaia is Typhon, who was imprisoned in his depths with the Cyclopes and later some of the Titans.

+There is no description of the god.

-Sons of Gaia, the Ouros are the personification of mountains. Ten major mountains are named; Parnes, Athos, Helikon or Helicon, Kithairon or Cithaeron, Nysos or Nysus, two different Olympos or Olympus, Oreios or Oreius or Oreus, Tmolos or Tmolus and Aitna or Aetna who is the only female Ouros noted.

=Also spelled Oros or Ourea, known to the Romans as Mons, Montanus, Numina Montanum.

-The air of the heavens, Aither is the son of Nyx and Erebos. He is the highest-most air, above Khaos and Erebos. Aither is the personification of the soul of the world and the home of the Olympians.

+Shining light, not much else in way of description.

-Ananke is one of the children of Gaia and Hydros, another form of Pontos. The personification of necessity, or destiny. She dictates the fate of mortals and gods alike.

+She is depicted as holding a spindle or torch, sometimes winged.

-Child of Gaia and Ouranos, Brother-husband of Rhea, Kronos overthrew his father and became ruler of the heavens. A prophecy convinced him to consume his children, but the sixth one, Zeus, was hidden from him and eventually overthrew him as he overthrew his own father.

+Kronos is often shown wielding a sickle, but he is never described in much more detail.

=Sometimes spelled Cronus, known as Saturn or Saturnus to the Romans.

-One of the twelve titan children of Gaia and Ouranos, Rhea is the titan of motherhood and female fertility, and controls the flow of related matters. The wife of Kronos, she is the mother of the first Olympians and the one who rescued Zeus from his father so he could rescue his siblings and overthrow his father.

+Rhea is womanly, driven by a lion in a chariot with a turret crown.

-The female personification of the Sea, counterpart and wife of Pontos. She is the mother of the fishes of the world. 

+Thalassa is seen as a woman in the water, crab-claw horns and dressed in seaweed.

-Daughter of Gaia and Ouranos, wife of Okeanos, Tethys is the titan of Fresh water. She is the mother of clouds(Nephelai), rivers(Potamoi) and streams(Okeanis), along with many other children of the water.

+Tethys is depicted in art with wings on her forehead.

-Born of Gaia, Pontos is the embodiment of the ocean. His wife and female counterpart is Thalassa, by whom he fathered the ocean’s fish. It was with Gaia that he created many of the older sea-gods. 

+Pontos has a long grey beard and crab-claw horns as he rises form the waters.

-One of Gaia and Ouranos’ twelve titan children, Okeanos is the embodiment of the global river, the ocean. His wife is Tethys, the fresh water, and together they created the river gods, Potamoi, and the three-thousand river nymphs known as Okeanis.

+Okeanos is known for having a fish-tail instead of legs, and sometimes crab-claw horns.

=Hydros or Hydrus is another form of Okeanos, or, to the Romans, Oceanus.

-Born at the start of creation, the embodiment of time Khronos circles the earth. His consort is Ananke(Inevitability), though it was by himself that the Twelve Horai(Hours) were born.

+Sometimes and old man, sometimes young, often winged, a serpentine male.
